This Meetup is for anyone who loves poetry and/or performers looking for an atmosphere to peform their work or to hear great poetry.  We conduct events each month for lovers of this art to include : The @ttic - a once a month showcase poetry event, Graffiti DC - a once a month slam event for 18+ crowd, and Busboys & Poets - an open mic hosted by Beny Blaq once a month.

… I’ll try to let members know about other local hooping events too—make sure to check out the DC Hoop Collective, Hoopdance DC, Aerial Graffiti and The Hula Hoop Project—all great local hooping groups and Meetups. Additionally, jams and informal events are open to poi and staff spinners, jugglers, etc. I have a nice portable sound system for music. I always bring extra hoops with me as well.
